The staff at J. Ross Real Estate decided in 2000 to give their support to a worthwhile local charity. As a group, we talked about finding a local organization that could benefit from our assistance; and the food bank partnership was born.

Together we've organized a number of programs to raise money for the Food Bank and help raise public awareness of their mission.

The Food Bank is officially called the "High River Ministerial Emergency Food Services." Pastor Rick Wengel sits on their board of directors. When the partnership was struck, Rick commented, "We're looking forward to being better funded and more self-sufficient through the alliance with J. Ross Real Estate."

We recognized that the people who run the food bank are very capable and committed to their cause, and we look forward to continuing to provide various resources - human, financial, and otherwise to help them in their efforts.
